Clovis Senior Services
Clovis Senior Services sponsors a wide range of classes, programs and activities to promote healthy and independent living for individuals 50 years and older. No membership or fee is required, although participants are asked to complete a confidential registration form with contact information in the case of emergencies.
Many of the activities take place in the Senior Center, 850 Fourth Street, in Clovis, directly in front of the San Joaquin College of Law and immediately behind the Rex Phebus Veterans Memorial Building. The center, which features a multi-purpose room, classroom/exercise room and kitchen, also is available for rent.
The center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with hot lunch served daily for a $1.75 donation. Arrangements also can be made at the center for the delivery of HomeBound meals. The meal program is funded in part through a grant from the Fresno-Madera Area Agency on Aging. In addition to classes, activities and programs, seniors are welcome to drop in for coffee, cards and conversation.
