Suspects Arrested For Identity Theft

Clovis Police Detectives have been following up on a case taken by patrol officers for a Clovis resident who was the victim of identity theft. The victim’s personal information was used on California’s central coast. During the investigation, two suspects were identified and on Monday, July 10, they were brought in for questioning. Following their interview with Detectives, both subjects were arrested for multiple charges. At the time of the arrest, the female suspect was found to be in possession of an electronic file that included the personal information belonging to thousands of people. It is unknown if those people’s identity had been used or not.
